When applying kaio to windows do I need to put the sealant on top of it or is the kaio by itself enough for lasting protection on the glass?

I would recommend using KSG on top of KAOI to increase durability. Durability is probably the main reason why you purchased the Klasse twins in the first place. Also try using KAOI to restore the black rubber at the bottom of the windows.

ksg is not recommended for glass only paint

"Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze creates an elastic, non-chip, shrink-proof, heat and scratch resistant - protective seal against ultraviolet rays, salt water, acid rain and industrial pollutants for up to 12 months. Use this glaze on all paints with or without clear coats, glass, fiberglass, Plexiglass, plastics, metal surfaces, enamel, tiles, Formica and all non-porous surfaces. It is anti-static, non-abrasive and contains no ingredients harmful to paint, metal or plastic."

Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze Hand Application

  1. Apply Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze just like you applied the All-In-One. With a damp (NOT WET) applicator pad or towel, spread a nickel-sized amount of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze onto the surface in long, overlapping strokes. Go over each area a few times to ensure even, thin coverage. Remember that Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze is only for painted surfaces.
You can certainly try it, but i would test it on a window other than the windshield just to be safe.

I've used both on glass and they're fine. But I wouldn't use it on the windshield (again). It seemed to do funny things when wearing off. It wears off unevenly and seemed to cause streaks when cleaning the glass. I never saw it on the other windows. I think SG says it's not approved for windshields. But they do keep the windows cleaner longer and make 'em shine nicely.

Since I switched to WGDGPS for paint I've been using that on glass instead of the twins with even nicer results - but not on the windshield.

Are you talking about the KAIO here or the KAIO w/ KSG?

I find it's best to read the bottle for the most accurate description. Often the Autogeek product page is wrong.

If the bottle says you can use on glass, use it, if it says only for painted surfaces....well that's your choice to see how it works.

Both. KAIO & KSG.

I've also used each on their own a time or two. I think if the glass is nice and clean - maybe even cleaned with some APC - you don't need to bother with KAIO. I was using just KSG by itself near the end.
