My father-in-law turned 81 on July 4th, so for a gift, I spent a
couple of days detailing his truck--'64 Chevy 10. He bought this 4 years ago in a farm field--it was a complete rust bucket--paid $100 for it. He called
me to let me know he had won the car show last week--everyone wanted
to know how he got it so shiny--timeless gift.

I still haven't figured out the "simple" way to get pics from gallery to
post--clipboard(I added the pics to it, but couldn't find the clipboard?;
URL????)

thanks,

"Major" Mike

Always nice to hear a story like this and to see it turn out the way it did. A fantastic job by both of you!

Sweet truck ! I'm really impressed with the finish you've achieved.

I've also got some great memories riding around in my father's truck as a kid...

Nice of you to detail it for his birthday. It looks great! Nice restoration job!

Great work on the truck. That was a great Birthday present for him. Way to go.

Great job on that truck, and that's a sweet truck too!

A PRIMO example of the truck in its time. It has been returned, with your help, to more than its original condition. I applaud both he and you for the revival.

I really love the look of those old pickups, they look so sturdy. You did a fabulous job bringing it back to life too. Very nice work.
