I just received my Klasse twins and am looking forward to trying them out tomorrow. Prior to that I had a few quick questions.

  1. I purchased a Meguiar's self cleaning dispenser bottle and am planning to transfer the Klasse AIO to that bottle. Does that bottle make sense to use with the AIO?
  2. I was going to move the Klasse SG into the Mercury Pro Spray Bottle, that should work fine right?
  3. Can I use the Klasse AIO with the buffer on windows? and should I?
I am really looking forward to trying all of the new stuff starting with the Iron X, the Riccardo Clay and Lube, the Klasse twins (let the SG cure for at least 8 hours before applying a 2nd coat, cure again) and then the Pinnacle Souvarin Paste Wax. I will apply the AIO and the wax with the PC and apply the SG by hand. This will be my first time using the PC so I am using my wife's 17 year old Lexus as the test dummy.

I think that I have read/watched every thread and video that I could on the products and the PC so I should be ready however, any last minute advice/tips is/are certainly welcome. I know to put the Klasse twins on very thinly and will try to be wary of that, although the car is white (my car and my son's car are both darker hence the Souvarin). I did buy the Sonus Acryllic Spritz just in case I have a hard time removing the SG (let it sit for 30 minutes after application). Have an excellent weekend all and thank you to all of the exceptional folks that share their knowledge on these forums! :props:

It sounds like you are on the right path. The Spritz is a great tool to have on hand when putting down the AIO and SG.

If you are going to apply the AIO with a machine, I don't know if I'd use a spray bottle. My vote would be to put 3~4 pea sized drops on a damp pad per pannel. For anything done by hand, I hear the spray method is easier than direct application like I've done for years.

I have two other bits of advice.

- Watch the temperature. When applying it below 50F and above 80~85F I've found both products streak and are hard to remove.

- Don't let the SG sit more than 15 minutes. The longer it sits the harder it will be to remove. For almost a decade I've let it site while I've finished the whole vehicle and I've always had spots that required Spritz to finish off. Many hear wipe on/wipe off with great success.

- Don't put the wax on until you're done layering the SG.

- Thin, thin, thin, thin. If you can clearly see either product after you've applied it, it's going on too thick.

KAIO is non abrasive, so, if you test with a non-abrasive pad you can find out what works best for you.

I'm short on time but will subscribe to this thread but THIN THIN THIN when using KSG! Use a small spray bottle with a small spray burst for sure and PLEASE keep your applicator damp and apply left to right and up and down and remove IMMEDIATELY! Then move to the next panel, keeping the pad damp always, damp, not wet, makes life easier when using KSG!

As far as KAIO, you could use a machine but a little goes a long way and its going to be applied and removed in one step using a machine, I prefer applying the Klasse twins by hand, ESPECIALLY KSG!!!
