 I've never used a product like AIO so I was wondering how everyone applies it? How long do you wait to take it off? Also, do I have to let it cure or can I top it with a carnauba after applying it? We're expecting rain later today so I want to make sure it doesn't have to cure. Thanks for your input!

wipe on via hand, or use a buffer for additional power, allow to haze, and wipe off. No appreciable time till you can top.

what pad and what speed? I assume finishing pad or white polishing pad and 3-4 speed to apply? So I CAN top right away?

That sounds about right. I'd try it with the finishing pad first, and see how that works. You can top it right away. What do you plan on topping it with?

maybe some Max Wax or Souveran. It's my wifes white Honda I've been milking info out of you guys for, so I think I'll conserve the Souveran;-) I guess I'll have to wait though.......here comes the rain, possibly 2nd tropical system this year. I know it's raining in AG land right now too!!

Starting to get hot here. Looking at 90+ this week. Go with the Max Wax, it produces great results and at 15 bucks a jar, its a great deal.

I agree, that's what I used on the tortoise, I mean Taurus yesterday and I was highly impressed. I need to order a couple more before it goes off sale. I've way overspent my quota this month! lol.....

I'm in the poor house now because of AG!!

you poor thing.....the top number here is what it was in the sun when I was detailing my car yesterday----bottom number is what it was inside my house.....aaaaahhhhhhhhh:cool: It was 100+ inside my garage!!

Seems like a lot of people have those wireless thermometers. So it is raining and is over 100 degrees? Yikes. When it rains here, it always drops to 60 and below. I think I prefer colder weather rain to hot weather rain.

They're very accurate. And the temp was yesterday in the sun. It's prob. in the low 90's now that it's raining.

Doesn't seem to be very favorable. Do you know how that weather compares to cold weather rain?

Been in a sauna. There is a steam room right next to it. Maybe I will try it, but probably not today. A pool sounds better.:D

Back to the subject, AIO is a very very mild polish. Is the paint already in good shape? AIO isn't going to do much regarding swirl removal.

killr, I thought you had to wait 8-10 hrs to let cure before another coat, or does that mean you have wait for another coat of AIO but you can apply a wax immediately.

AIO has no cure time. It is the Klasse SG that has to cure. 12 hours minimum but 24 hours recommended.

Thanks, I got confused, still learning about the products.

So am I and so is everyone else. Just ask!

:iagree:

The companies introducing the products arent making it easy either. Polishes that dont polish, glazes that polish, waxes that arent really waxes ...

It also doesn't help that there are SOOOO many products available. This forum has been a lifesaver in helping me make my car look good.

it has been for me too..! I'm new to the detailing scene. Such a great place to help one in deciding on which product to use and how..! thanks guys..!
