Klasse All In One before Wolfgang 3.0 Sealer?

Factory paint with Fresh paint on part of car. Fresh paint is a month old, I have Klasse All in one and want to know if it works well under Wolfgang 3.0 sealer? Also I need to know if the Wolfgang sealer contains any silicone? This car needs to look show car quality! Will be topping off with soverain paste wax!
 
There aren't any silicones in the Wolfgang sealant. It is a very awesome product. There is actually a Wolfgang Pre Polish that works very well as a base for the sealant. I always use that, but the Klasse AIO would work just as well. The key is just to use something which removes the oils and other waxes from the surface before using the sealant. AIO doesn't have any oils or waxes in it, so it is a good base. Souveran will look great on the top, but I think you might want to see what two or three coats of the sealant looks like first. It is really hard to beat the look of more Wolfgang sealant over Wolfgang sealant. I don't even bother topping it anymore since it just looks so good by itself. Nothing else really seems to enhance it enough to be worth the effort.
 
I don't know that I would apply a sealer over AIO. KAIO does leave a coating on the surface. IMO, I prefer to apply sealants directly to freshly cleaned paint with no other coatings. I'd be very interested to know what other think about doing this.p>
 
AIO is meant to be the first step before the Klasse Sealant Glaze. It may leave a coating, but it is a synthetic coating and perfectly safe for other sealants to go over. Primarily AIO is a paint cleaner and not much by way of protection. The real protection was meant to be achieved with the Sealant Glaze.
 
I've done KAIO and WGDGPS a few times, it looked great and seemed to hold up well. I've heard that the two german formulas are meant to be friendly, but I don't know it for sure.

This is definitely not the first time I have seen someone say that KAIO is not durable. What is surprising to me is they make the bold claim in the product description that it lasts up to six months. Still, I have applied KAIO with two coats of KSG for winter protection on our Prius. I want to test out this combo and see how it holds up.

All manufactures make the claim their product last 6 months, which is true..................in a garage. KAIO is a great base for sealants or waxes and being that it's acrylic it has no oils to interfere with anything.
 
Everything can last up to six months. ...as long as you reapply it frequently. ;) I've never done a benchmark test with it, but I just know what it is meant for. The only thing I use it for is cleaning the paint and as a base for SG which is what offers the real protection. However, if someone is looking for a good one step product, I would probably recommend XMT 360 before AIO.

If you put on one more coat it'll boost the shine like 50%. I never saw any improvement in the second coat and I've used it several times, but that third coat is the charm.

1 KAIO and 3 KSG always got me through the winter. I am garaged though. But I live in NY so it can get nasty in winter.

I have also found the KAIO to not be that durable.

Ahh, wish I would have read this sooner! I already topped it with Collinite 476. Oh well, next time I use it I will try three coats. :(

We also can get some nasty weather in Ohio. Hopefully this combo of KSG+476 holds up.
 
what do u recommend when applying a fresh coat of wg sealer over an existing coat if water still beads somewhat. need to reclay or use a paint cleaner, or both?

If you want lasting go with Zaino. In term of lasting nothing comes near.
In terms of shine, all of the the top brands look much the same. ( in my opinon) I am 73 and have owned over 25 cars. While I am not a great dealer it is easy to see what looks good and lasts.

Thanks! Glad to hear of your success. I plan on trying this combo next. I'm a big fan of Klasse AIO: easy on, easy off, no chalky residue, etc. Great on the "family car". I think it lasts a pretty decent time--at least better than some. I also have been applying P21S carnauba on top since the Klasse SG is too much work to remove.
