Got question for You guys.

On this page.....
Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze, klasse SG sealant, klasse sealant glase, klasse sealant

It says You can use KHGS on glass and other stuff....

"Use this glaze on all paints with or without clear coats, glass, fiberglass, Plexiglass, plastics, metal surfaces, enamel, tiles, Formica and all non-porous surfaces. It is anti-static, non-abrasive and contains no ingredients harmful to paint, metal or plastic"

on the application page......
Klasse usa ,Klasse Application Guide, How to apply Klasse AIO, Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze, All-in-one, klasse all-in-one

It says its is for painted surfaces only.

" Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze is only for painted surfaces."

What do You guys think ?

You can use it on glass, just put it on really thin, you don't want any holograms on your windows.

I've been using Klasse products since 2005 and never use KSG on glass, always hard to remove IMO, now KAIO on the other hand, VERY easy to remove.

Here's what was passed down to me by the place I used to get Klasse from:

1. Get a bowl and fill it w/ water
2. Dunk your applicator, I prefer a square, mf one, in the bowl of water and wring out pretty well.
3. Get yourself a small spray bottle and pour some KSG in there.
4. Take your slightly damp applicator and spray one little spray onto the applicator and wipe onto the panel your about to work on.
5. Work it in, up and down and side to side and wipe off right away.
6. When the applicator seems to dry a bit, re-dunk in the bowl of water and wring out, keep that pad damp, it makes using KSG a lot easier, trust me!

Applying a 2nd coat 12 hrs later will really blow you away, so if you can do this, DO IT!

Thanks KA ! I am actually at a new and used dealership. What we are doing is applying KAIO to all our used units when detailing. At the time of sale, if the customer chooses ($$$), we are applying KSG. So on a used unit you get a coat of KAIO and a coat of KSG. One a new unit, You get a coat of KSG, but I wanted to do something on the glass. I've done 4 new units now with KSG on the glass and it seems to be doing great. Just wondered why one set of instruction for KSG said for "paint only"

They say that because KSG is hard to remove from glass but you and others are having no issues, wonder if they changed the formula again like they did a couple years ago, hmmm.

IMO you should apply KAIO to the new cars and then the KSG, they're mean't to work together!

I think it's more of a liability thing, just like Optimum didn't want you to put Opti-Coat on glass even though everyone did it...but if you didn't know what you were doing you could get "haze" that would be very difficult to remove...same with SG. BTW I'm not saying that SG is harder/as hard to remove as OC...just that for a novice it might seem that way.

This is the most honest thing i have ever heard of a dealership doing.

Putting a layer of both on new units was my initial plan. The problem is we do a lot of "dealer trades" on new units, so I don't want to apply KAIO when putting them on the lot and it be traded to another dealer.

I thought about doing both at time of sell, but even with KAIO, I like to have a little "cure" time between coatings.

Remember....dealers are more about speed than accuracy. It's the world I must leave in. HAHA

Thanks ! It was my idea. I had to convince them the units would look and wear better on the lot !

Don't forget to "armor all" the tires too, LOL! The terms "wax the car" and "armor all the tires" are now just general terms.
