Klasse High Gloss Sealant then a WAX?

Topping with wax will give you a little more protection but I topcoat sealants for added depth rather than protection. Many times I'll let the sealant cure 12 or more hours then apply an additional cost of sealant.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus is one of these sealants that can be layered after one hour of application. A nice feature of Ultima Paint Guard Plus is it's clear, lays down clear, dries clear, and requires little to no buffing....

I agree with Bobby 100%, apply the 2nd coat of KSG after 12 hrs for sure and then and only then, if you really feel you need to, go ahead and apply that coat of caranuba:props:

After topping up Wax over KHGS - what do you guy used for maintaining after every wash before the next stripping?

Spray Wax? Quick Detailer?

KSG seems to really pop after the 3rd application. I didn't believe it until I tried it (I did the whole car one day, then did a panel or two at a time, keeping track, each evening in the garage).

Definitely let KSG cure for 12 hours or more.

After topping, I'd use whatever detail spray I was fond of at the time...the best ever, I think, was Ultimate Gloss Enhancer, which isn't made anymore....never was a fan of Crystal Mist....UGE and now UWW+ as a QD or FK425 are good....also like Wolfgang Spritz detailer...

I have a question I understand about applying 2nd coat after 12hrs. Should I apply Collinite after I apply Klasse during the first application or should I wash car apply Klasse wait 12 hours apply Klasse again then top with Collinite? Also what if I need to use the car during the 12 hr wait? Should I just wash it again then apply Klasse and Collinite? Thanks

That. You don't want to apply KSG over a wax, it won't bond well (if at all).

I washed, or just did a QD if the car wasn't dirty, between layers.

QD = quick detailer

try to use one without any wax in it, or you may have the same issue as if you topped it with wax before putting on your additional layers of ksg...

I last waxed my car in February, the car is always garaged so I think I will need to strip the wax off correct? What do you recommend? I think I will need to strip the existing wax if theres any at all which there is since it still beads then I should seal it twice the second after 12 hrs then final wax or am I still missing something. thanks

Bringing this back from the dead.

Can someone please recommend me an affordable carnauba wax to top KSG with? I would like to apply the Klasse twins twice a year and apply a carnauba monthly to keep up the protection in-between. I was considering Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid, but I've learned that it contains cleaners and that liquids are inherently poor at topping sealants.

Collinite 845 seems like a good product, but the warming up seems inconvenient and perhaps that product is a bit overkill for monthly application.

Would Mother's California Gold be a good option, or does it too contain cleaners? Should I be looking for paste waxes exclusively?
