I tried this out yesterday and it works great.
I have a black car with Klasse twins and Souveran paste wax.
I did not go 1:4 , i felt that 1:3 would give the same results with easier use.

1-WIPED DOWN WITH DP BOTTLE WASH
2-APPLIED 1:3 OF KLASSE SG AND WATER FROM WATER SOFTENER IN SPRAY BOTTLE
3 USED WOWO AND MICROFIBER TOWEL

I made up a 1:3 mixture of Klasse SG and WATER from water softener in a spray bottle and WOWO. Man, talk about an explosive popp. This technique gave the paint exactly what i was looking for, it looked as though i had just spent five hours on the paint. Very glossy wet look in less than 10 minutes, and NO STREAKS.. This is a great way to bring back that just detailed look.
I can now save on Sonus Acrylic Glanz, I'm getting the same results, the only thing missing is the Sonus smell. This 1:3 mixture has no smell if any.

I read about people saying that it was hard to take off and that it was sticky. I think that was due to using too much mixture. AT 1:3 IT WAS VERY EASY TO USE.

It might not be as slick as a QD with the smell but it is very easy to use and works better because it puts down a good layer of protection as well.

VERY EASY TO USE WITH GREAT RESLUTS!! Try it, i'm sure you will be surprised..

I assume you realise that allowing a polmer to come into contaqct with water before its formed a bond will lessen its durability?

Acylic polymers:
The molecular structure of all polymers are based on a chain of carbon atoms, chemically it is a molecule formed by the chemical union of five or more identical combining units called monomers.

These products contain polyethylene-acrylic acid that causes minor etching of the paint, which enables molecular bonding with the paint surface, which in turn results in durability versus just using a polyethylene based products. Zaino and Dura Gloss are two examples of acrylic polymers, which produce a ‘clear bright shine’.

Klasse or Werkstatt (acrylic polymers) tend to produce a ‘liquid glow’. The acrylic paint solvent carrier system allows the dense molecule to spread and cross-link forming a hard protective surface. Fracture/evaporation temperatures - 265 - 285 oF (130 - 140°C)

Cross-linking –the polymer chains (monomers or building blocks) form a covalent (molecular) bond, creating a dense, flat and smooth ‘mesh’ type structure that lies on top of the much smaller paint molecules. Allow a period of twelve (12) hours. Polymers are hydrophobic so avoid water, rain, quick detailers that contain water or washing vehicle until product is fully set-up (cured)

I understand all of this, but the fact is that it produces great results. If you use the Klasse Twins and have SG down, why not use this as a topper to keep it looking sharp .

Many detailers have used interesting combination that were thought of as crazy. Today many of those methods are still being used .What i am getting at, is to try new way's of doing things, you may be surprised.

I came up with this by reading other posts and doing some reading about different products. I know that other products may do the same, but why pay for expensive products when i can get the same or better rusults this way. Well, i tried this and it worked so well, that i will now use it as my main choice of a topper. Great results to keep my car as though it was just detailed for 5 hours, in just 10 min.
This i a great topper to use if using the Klasse Twins, to keep the glossy wet look going.

Try it before you make the final decision, i'm sure you will be surprised at the outcome as i was.

I too have to agree with TOGWT, a sealant should not come in contact with water until fully cured. Youve essentially taken back some durability and could have drowned some polymers for lack of a better term concerning looks, gloss, and reflection.

If you have SG down already and want to put the 1:3 as an xtra popp after every wash, why not. I'm not saying to replace the existing SG way of FIST APPLYING . I'm saying to use it as an xtra after washing for longer lasting gloss as well as protection.
This was something new to me. It took me about a month before attempting it and noticed an excellent result.

Try it and see the result, you will agree with the me.
Forget the bonding issues, SG should have been put down before doing this.

Use after routine washes to keep the "JUST DETAILED LOOK"..

After SG, I find any one of a dozen spray qd'ers to work wonders on the combo. Everything from Sonus Acyrlic Spritz and Werkstatts Acrylic Glos to others like Poorboys Spray Gloss and Four Starr Gloss Enhancer. It sounds like your using the added combo more to add gloss , and these do it also.

The cost is what's great about it. The 1:3 mix last a long time for much less money.
The looks after applying, look just as good with more added protection.
I was using the Sonus Acrylic Glanz and am now getting the same results or better.
