I realize we all have our favorite polishes, glazes, sealants & waxes and various combinations of them; but, I have to admit the KSG is stunning on black !!! WOW !!!
Yes it's miserable to remove dry; however, per an excellent recommendation by one of our fellow members it's easily remedied by removing the first pass with a dampened soft towel after a sufficient dry time which I incorporated about 30 minutes and simply sprayed a mix of quick detailer and distilled water onto a soft cotton towel, give it a couple of swipes to remove the top layer of the SG then finished it off with a MF buffing towel to a incredible shine -- SIMPLE !!!
I plan to repeat this process for a total of 3 layers which seems to be a suggested "magic number" with a 24 hour cure time in between coats.
My question is: for a car limited to occasional car shows do most guys put a coat of wax on top of the 3 coats of SG - or - do they leave it "as is", which is fabulous by itself.
I have Blackfire/Black ice mountain wax on hand.
Thank you!
