Can m7 improve on the Klasse twins? I read a Mike Phillips post the other day and he said "A pure polish ( M7 ) would not do much on clear coat. It is mostly useful on single stage paint." I bought the polish after detailing with Klasse.
My son has a black honda that needs some work. could use it there.

I'd certainly reach for many other products before I went for the M7 on a daily driver. The magic of M7 are oils. Oils gather dust and wash away in a rain.

I was thinking of using M7 after the claybar and before the AIO, or would that be a wasted effort.

I still use Meg's #7 every now and then but it's practically relegated to show cars only. My father-in-law applies it to his Barracuda show car with no other LSP afterwards. Awesome gloss and wetness that lasts a few days (which is perfect for shows).

With that said, #7 is very (extremely) high in oils. I have never used a sealant (including Klasse SG) that can bond properly to the car surface because of this high oil content. You should not use KAIO after #7 as the AIO would remove it.

Essentially, I would skip #7 altogether - It is not compatible with the Klasse system.

unless you have ss paint, M7 won't do much

I can't get all the quotes in this reply but thanks for all the info, guys. I bought a bottle of m7 on sale at the hardware store thinking i could improve the shine. Your replies have saved me a lot of work and frustration. Next time I go to a car show I'll give it to someone with a show car. I'm sure it will be appreciated by a car guy.
