does anyone still use klasse aio topped with klasse sealant glaze on a regular basis?

Just did 2 coats 12.0 hours apart on my wifes 2011 Lexus RX 450h,no issus at all with removal. After the next wash i will add another coat.I find using KSG pretty user friendly to use,not as easy say WG3.0 but not hard either.

well i was just wondering because acrylic based sealants actually provide a pretty resistant finish. right now i mainly use four star UPP and i love it, but would like to find something a little more resistant to swirl marks for a certain category of customers that seem to enjoy creating them on their cars.

how about zaino? i dont want to give up too much on looks but willing to step down slightly

:hijacked:Has anyone tried Collinite #845 on Klasse AIO? If so, how does it compare to Klasse on Klasse?Feed back please

Hey Ted,

I've applied Collinite 845 over Klasse All-In-One several times and with stunning results. I just received a container of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze and haven't had time to try it yet.

I suspect that Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze won't give the finish quite the depth of Collinite 845 but it reportedly protects the finish for up to 12 months...

How about; Klasse All-In-One + Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze + Collinite 845!!

well, this got my attention. Very interested with the results, if any. :)

There is no reason that I can think of why this isn't feasible.

I can't even count how many times I've applied Collinite 845 over Klasse All-In-One with great success. I have also applied Collinite 845 over Menzerna Power Lock Sealant and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant with the same terrific results.

That said, I'm confident that Collinite 845 can be applied over Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze without issue.

Bobby, this is my favorite winter protections combo. 2 layers of KSG look good and then toped with 845. Wow the paint just pops. My wife loves to tell me how even when her car is dirty it glows / shines when compared to other vehicle. And this combo easily last through winter. :props:

I use it on winter prep projects all the time. AIO + 3 or 4 coats of SG = bulletproof car for salt and slush driving all winter. I love that stuff.

With extra coats , in your opinion, does the clarity and gloss increase or decrease?

Troy,

This is some great information! :props:

When I post I like to have already tried and have some personal experience with the products in question. While I can surmise this would work I have yet to test it however you have now confirmed this combination works and works well! :dblthumb2:

For some reason I never added Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze to my arsenal until about a week ago. I've heard and read allot of great things about it but for some reason it fell off the radar...

KSG always gets great reviews for looks/durability but is often followed by stories of how finicky or hard it was to remove which turns people away from using it.I find that as most know keep it thin let dry for an hour and removal is no problem.

Klasse AIO is GREAT!!!! I first bought the AIO, then invested in the Sealant. One on top of the other keeps a great shine on my bike!!!:xyxthumbs:

The Klasse HGSG is a great product because it's very durable and forms a perfect foundation for waxes. For example, Pinnacle Sov. Liquid applies perfectly over cured HGSG and looks and feels simply amazing. You may not like it on a light car if you want the finish to be super bright though.

The more coats of Klasse you apply, the more darkened/wet the paint will look, never tried more than three. The stuff is GREAT on carbon fiber because it wets down the finish for months and makes it appear much more clear. I don't know of any sealant as darkening that lasts as long. It's also very gentle and very low VOC which makes it safer than most product similar sealants.

Letting the klasse HGSG cure for 12 hours makes removal much easier and is a must for use on very soft paints (Honda). I use about 1/2 ounce to cover a mid-sized vehicle, using any more will result in you being very unhappy during removal. For heavy areas I re-mist the panel with HGSG and then it removes easily without taking off the cured finish.

I consider Klasse HGSG a pure sealant, not really an LSP of choice. I find it benefits hugely from a top coat with something that adds depth and great sheeting/beading.

This is a great thread and I appreciate and encourage everyone to comment. All this information is the very reason why we're here and is invaluable!! :props:

Awesome input guys!! :dblthumb2:

Has anyone out there tried applying a separate pure glaze (such as Meguiar's #7) after Klasse All-in-One polish, and before the Klasse HGSG sealant?

This is not advised. KSG needs a clean surface to bond to and that is what KAIO provides. Megs #7 is an oil based glaze and will interfere with the KSG bonding.

Before i got my PC, i used Klasse AIO and SG. I knew it wouldnt correct much by hand but it did have a nice gloss and the protection was great with the SG. Of course i topped it with P21S 100%. It seems i dont use it much for paint, only the plastic trim. One container of both the AIO and SG will last you a lifetime. Elk.

So when people say let it cure for 12 hours, does that mean you leave the sealant on the car for 12 hours? Or does it mean after you apply the sealant, give it 30 mins then wipe off and wait another 12 hours before applying another coat?

I always thought wipe off sealant then wait 12 hours to reapply another coat?

I did for a couple of years. One AIO and three SG looked amazing. But then I found that WG Sealant looked about as good with just one easy application. And since it was so easy I could do it more often so it made up for the SG's excellent durability. I still sometimes put SG on my wheels.

The first winter with WG sealant I put it on top of FOUR coats of SG. That lasted all winter and then some.
