Lake Country Grout Sponge does not mar?

How do you guys clean these? Or do you?

I have tried pad cleaners and a variety of APCs and they don't clean up to my satisfaction. Pretty much have since relegated these to wheels.

I just rub them against the grit guard to release the dirt. I guess mine don't get that dirty since I don't do any off-roading. :)

Mine turn irrecoverably black it seems. Not sure if it is staining (I don't feel any dirt while cleaning) but it scares me enough not to take back to paint.

actually I never gave it much thought, but I just went out and looked at my LC's and lowes grout and they were barely discolored. Are you doing rinseless or two bucket washes?

Have done both. Didn't like them with rinseless (felt too grabby) and noticed the discoloration after cleaning a rather dirty car with 2BM.

You might want to put 1/2oz of ONR in your wash water

Great idea. I'll def try it. Thanks.

you can clean sponges with dish soap and a brush. it takes a bit of time but cleans up really well. the other option is to dump in the washing machine with your rag towels.

I started out with the Home Depot grout sponge and really liked it but then found this Aqua grout sponge on Ebay, imported from Greece and let me tell you this, it kicks ass! Its VERY poures and VERY to use. It cost me $10.99 w/ free shipping and yes I know its expensive compared to the others but I really like using it.

Clean up is easy, I just take mine into the shower with me and wash it out in there, using body wash and it just rub it in, rinse and repeat, a ton of dirty just pours out of it.

Mr. Spock would say: "Hmm, fascinating. Human behavior can never be fully understood, yet it is one of the dominant lifeforms in the galaxy."

Well, he never did say that. But he would've if I wrote the movie/tv scripts. LOL
