on monday there andy and my self popped down south leaving at 5 in the morning :doublesho
we had a full detail on a lambo and just a wash and wax on a lotus
so first off was to pre soak both cars with the citrus
lambojames001.jpg

then foam both cars

lambojames004.jpg

then dry the 2 cars off with the sonus der wunder towels
so next was to inspect the paint work and yes swirl`s :doublesho

next we took the paint thickness and was getting a steady 30 microns clear coat all over the car
paint corection time
menzerna IP with cutting then another pass with the menzerna IP with the 3m polishing pad
after the IP we used the menzerna FF with a 3m finishing pad

once i was happy with the paint work we put the HD cleanse on the the paint work so that the wax can bond to the paint
for the wax we used the vintage

got another 2 lambo`s booked in this week god i love my job ;)

Nice job on the Lambo. It seems like the owner took it threw the car wash with all that swirlls.

Wow, it looks like one big mirror. Exceptional work.

Great Job! I love the looks of the Countash. I still think about getting one the only bad thing is it drives like a truck.

wow awesome...im trying to get my friend to let me detail his lambo gallardo...:)

Great details!

Hey Gary, you can always buy a nice replica Countash if you want!!!

No thanks on the replica P1et. About a 1 1/2 years ago I had a change to buy an 88 Countach from a collecter for $65,000. The car was in mint condition with only 6,000 km on it. My wife highly disapproved of the transaction so I ended up not buying it. The cars have been going for about $100,000 lately. I did have a chance to drive a Countach a few years back. The interior of the car definitely shows it's age but the exterior is so classic. In terms of perfomance and ease of driving it does not compare to my Gallardo but I just love the looks of the Countach.

Did you take a paint thickness reading after the polishing? Just curious.

Nice job there!

That is one fine looking vehicle, wow I love those curves. I would agree with Gary looks are good but driving the Gallardo is better.

Sweet detail, question (I may have missed this) but what wax did you use? Sorry I'll go back and check.

Great job ont he detail.

(edit) - you used Vintage, how do you like Vintage? How did you apply it?

Oh man that is nice car. one of the first super cars i remember from my younger days...

Paint looks great too, before all the restrictions and enviromental safe paint etc, less orange.

Brillant! Great work and beautiful cars. How do you get that foam? My foam gun lays out the foam but it doesn't sit on the car like that.

Another question. When you spray the citrus, how long do you let it sit and do you foam right over it?

Both car has awesome reflections. I've always love them Countach.
