I've decided to start taking on some of the work folks have been offering and I'm open to advice.
This is the experience I've had with this as a hobby. I love it. I love the work. I love the outcome. When I describe what I do, how I do it, and how long it takes to someone who appreciates it....it's like a sales pitch.
I've had countless guys ask me to detail their bikes. I've respectfully declined every time. I once had a guy offer to fly me out to New Jersey, put me up, and said he'd pay me generously to do to his bike what he saw I did to mine.
My situation may be a little unique.
I really have no interest in cages (cars, trucks, etc). I have zero interest in doing interiors for sure. I realize it narrows my prospects down to a pretty specific niche, but I'll do a car exterior if I had to, but I prefer to work on bikes.
Any advice is welcome. Incorporating, filing a DBA, insurance...all stuff I've handled before in other business ventures, but I'm still open to advice there as well.
