This is a 2004 John Deere Grain Planter. It is pulled behind a tractor and plants any type of seeds (corn, soybean, wheat). The owner noticed it was getting filthy and faded. When a machine like this costs $40,000 keeping it looking new is a good idea. All I had to wax was the big flat areas, used something special on the rest.

Process was

Wash DG CWC Foam Gun
Dry with NC sun.
Color-X with rotary @1500rpm's wool Makita pad.
Majestic Solutions Spray Shine final wipe
Dress tires/wheels/frame with MS Poly dressing.

This was a super super fun detail, and I am supposed to be doing that tractor in the pics next week.

You said, "Hope y'all enjoy". Yup! I'm definitely enjoying it. Hopefully, you're enjoying a long soak in the tub. You must be dragging after that!
Only 1 complaint. I don't like what you did to that sheep!! :p

Sweet job Brandon :D I would love to detail something like that!! A nice break from cars ;)

It was super fun and no sheep were harmed in the process.

My life passion is tractors and hopefully that is what I get to work with when I get older, so this was a unreal detail. I actually charged a little less b/c he let me drive the tractor around for about 5min. I almost had to go home and change my undies.

Great job! Perhaps it could benefit form a long lasting sealant like Duragloss #105.;)

Saweet detail..mand that looks like fun to do :righton:

Thanks for sharing

bomb @ss job there - wowee! you rock. looks great! my husband's uncle in nebraska would die for that! you really do nice work. thank you for sharing, and btw, it is not weird. it is good detailing.
glad to hear ya don't like sheep!
hee hee hee - j/k - just messin' with ya!

Yeah, I may put some #105 on there when I do that tractor next time, I just did not have the time or he did not have the money for much more than what I did.

I only charged $70 and it took me 1.5 hrs.

That is one original and rare detail that most of us will probably never see! Very cool stuff and thanks for posting!
