LATEST TOPPER POLL. EVERYTHING SHY OF CANCOAT.

Optimum Car Wax or Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer. Those are the two I'm currently using, and really enjoy.

I can use Car Wax as a stand alone, or over Opti-Seal. ID&GE is great over Opti-Seal.

ID&GE is underrated IMO. Stuff just works on any surface with no issues. Smells fantastic.

From the list I use Elixir. Recently I have been looking at changing some of my product choice but with snow and salt near it won’t matter what I use. Come on Spring.

I have tried several different toppers including several on your list.

My favorite topper is Xtreme Solutions Topper - great gloss, water beading, slickness, and very nice scent. It is available in a gallon.

I use the OG and Adams versions of Topper (made by the same blender), they are my favorite drying aids/toppers.

I use Collinite 845 as a topper. For a wiping aid on a washed/wet surface, I use 3D Bead it Up or Griots Spray Wax

I've read lots of good stuff of the tec 582 and the duragloss gets a lot of love.

That said i really like echo diluted 20:1 personally.

Like you said don't chase products find something you like using would be my suggestion.

If you're going to put DG AquaWax on the list, you'd be remiss not to include Optimum Car Wax. (OCW).

:)

I like 3D bead it up a lot.

I also like TWHS Wet Wax as a drying aid! (Not sure if that counts as a topper to you but it does to me)

You can clutch in gallons but It’s expensive. Still got half galllon…

And I’d be probably dumb enough to buy a gallon of PA High Gloss if available….

I use 3D Bead it Up after each wash. Season long car/refresh details of a car that I've ceramic coated, I use CanCoat, the new EVO now, of course. Reload, etc. are nothing more than glorified detail sprays like Bead it Up. I never saw them lasting long at all.

OG Optimum Gloss? Not sure what that's abbreviated for?

I don’t really believe in the concept of toppers being a good idea...

Agree. I've used/tried a few in the past, and besides using Cure on CanCoat, I just don't see the point. The benefits are fleeting, if noticeable at all. I've found keeping the existing LSP clean to be just as effective.

I still occasionally try some out (I'm using Gyeon Ceramic Detailer on my car right now), but can't say any of them convinced me I was better off using them than just letting my LSP go naked.

My second favorite is TEC 582.

3D Bead It Up felt very similar to TEC 582 to me and would probably be my 3rd choice.

Personally, I did not care for Turtle Wax Wet Wax as much. While it performed well, it had two negatives to me. It did not have as pleasant a scent and, more importantly, it is not available in a gallon size. Both XS Topper and TEC 582 are available in gallons and are better values.

A lot of internet talk says the 1st two are the same thing from B&B blenders (Slipstream). Along with Adam’s SlicknSlide and OG drying aid.

Correct.

I have not used Topper, but regularly use OG Drying Aid and Adam's SlicknSlide. I like the ease of use with these products, no excessive buffing required and compatible with ceramic coatings as well as waxes and sealants too. Gloss and slickness are both exceptional.

Topper and SlicknSlide are both scented and colored, the OG version is scentless and uncolored. If you look at the pic below, the colored SlicknSlide has actually stained the bottle during storage.

OG Drying Aid and Adam's SlicknSlide according to the chemist of B&B blending are the same products. He openly said it in a video with pan.

Doesn't surprise me he would say something like that! I totally get it now why he's not a fan favorite around here. I'm sure Adam's loved that!
According to him my Ryobi is CRAP! One he use to carry. And works extremely well for allot of detailer's. Is it a Kranzel HELL NO!!! Does it do the job? YES!

I agree. I think at this point I'm skeptical of toppers doing much of anything. With Can Coat, just keeping it clean on a regular basis has kept it strong. I could also tell how certain LSPs on top were barely bonding to it by how the beading would change back so fast.

I would never support that OG guy, he's extremely creepy. I think he's some kind of frontman personally.

I clearly don't know but i don't believe he's the real brains behind the whole OG business(successful).

The AR units are supposed to be close but at a better price than the kranzles.

Right now have been using Phoenix EOD's Titan detailer...has been my go to lately over my PPF/ceramic treatment.
They have a new waterless/rinseless wash called "Hydra" that I will be trying very soon. Love their soap as well, overall have been impressed.

Griots 3-1 does that same thing.

I always use 3 in 1 on all my jobs with the exception of a full coating.

I did a detail about three weeks ago and I told her I would wash her car for free since it rained 2 days after I did her car. And more importantly since she gave me a nice referral that was a $600 outside only on a Paint correction Suburban,
I had her text me this last night:
I texted her if I could wash her car and she wrote:
It defiantly needs a wash!I have not washed it since you did it. My car is still absolutely gorgeous. It's not holding the dirt like it used to, it's crazy. Crazy good!
I was happy to hear that.

Wish the Griot's brand was sold in Australia, feel like we miss out on a lot of decent products from them.

Better than decent. Still haven’t found a QD that compares to speed shine. I will keep chasing though.

Nova boost may be a tie or close second.

Have you tried Nova Boost v2? It's probably more in line with other Si02 spray detailers, like Megs HCD.

Soft 99 speed barrier spray all colour!

Easy on off and slicker that KY jelly

Scott HD's 8 month test showed 3 in 1 still going strong. Quite durable for a spray on.

The other product that always performs well is Feynlab Ceramic Lite. That may be the best lite coating on the market.
