My uncle just picked up a van that he intends on selling. Instead of removing the decals, they painted over them with Latex paint, which I need to now somehow remove... I've never had to remove so much, I used Goof off, which worked, but it is going to take a very long time using that. Not sure if you could point me in the right direction into getting this stuff off. We are removing the decals with a heat gun, which is working well, but now i have to deal with the paint... Attached are pictures of what I'm dealing with, any help is appreciated

I plan on polishing the paint afterwards too, so as long as I don't strip the clear, I'll use whatever method really

Wow. on interiors I've used rubbing alcohol to clean latex paint spills with incredible results.

Methylated spirits will break down water based paints. Might be called "white" spirits over there? I'm in oz.

Try winter window washer fluid. Something in it eats latex paint and it won't hurt the regular paint.
