I have the older PC 7424, using the 6.5 Flat pads. I order some new pads and got the CCS Green finishing pad to use with XMT 360 AIO. The pad dosen't work, the green pad is harder to use them the flat pads. Is this right?

Hate for you to have to spend more money, but do yourself a favor and get a 5" backing plate and some 5.5" flat pads. The PC does not have enough power to spin a 6.5" pad. Therefore your correction power will be greatly reduced.

I use an old PC also and I can say 5.5" pads are the only way to go for me.

Not totally related but I have a GG and I am updating to the 5inch backing plate and 5.5 inch pads. I noticed that I have to work the product alot harder with the 6.5 inch pads. I also switched from CCS to flat pads based on other users reviews. Im sure there will be a noticeable difference.

I have the 5" backing plate, it was in the kit i bought a few years ago. I noticed that the CCS pad dosen't spin like the flat pad does. I'm going to order some 5.5" pads, but not the CCS pad.
