So guys im in the market for some new pads...
Im mainly using the CCS pads and the BOGO pads....

I'm trying to find new pads to try out...
I know LC just released their Hybrid pads not too long ago...
Im having trouble deciding and understanding which one of these will work for me better....?

Can someone knock some sense into me with these pads!?!?

The hybrid pads seem to bring directed towards the Flex DA with a 5.5" backing plate. I'm sure a rotary would handle then fine as well. I would stick with the HT since they come in a variety of sizes and have been proven to work. Maybe pick up one or two hybrid pads though just to test out.

Okay Thanks Ryan

But what color HT pads is for what use....
Since the Blue and Orange both seems to be cutting pad?

Or is it like the Blue for Swirl removers?
Orange for Polish?
Red for glaze, sealant?

Blue(Cyan) is used for compounding, orange(tangerine) is used for polishing, and red(crimson) can be used for very fine polishing or sealant/wax application.

Okay thanks alot Ryan im get one of each or maybe 2 of each lol

On a new car, can i use HT 7/8'' red(crimson) for BFGEP or should i try the tangerine? Would it harm if used a tangerine? Just have 2 etching water spots.

I Used tangerine for BFGEP today and it was perfect. Thanks everyone :xyxthumbs:.

The HT tangerine pads have a decent amount of cutting ability but still finish off perfectly with no hazing or micro-marring. They are a great pad for all-in-one products and 1-step polishes. I suppose you could use them for an LSP but typically you would want something a tad softer with little to no cutting ability to lay down a nice even layer of sealant or wax.

I usually go from m205/HT tangerine to LSP/HT crimson and the results are great.
