LC Hybrid 5" Pad

I'm not quite sure where to post this but I thought this might be a good location.

I just order several pads on the recommendation of the hybrid pads by Lake Country for my Flex.

I was working over the weekend on a new car and noticed that the orange pads that I ordered were shedding. I noticed it was from the edge and thought it was a manufacturing process that left little pieces that will break off when using. (If you need a picture I can take one of where I'm talking about)

The problem I have is after using 2 orange pads for a car, the velcro back is peeling apart already. Also this is only happening on the orange pads and not the white or black ones that I used as well.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a manufacturing defect?
 
Did you buy them from AG? If so, give them a call and send them a picture. I'm sure that they will take care of you.
 
Yep I just got them from AG last week. It's really weird that it's doing that.

Have you had problems like that? The CS pads are great and I don't have problems with them.

I don't use LC Hybrid pads, so I can't say. Are you using speed 6 on your 3401? If so, try speed 4-5. The forced rotation maybe too much for the Velcro backing.
 
Do you have the LC interchangeable backing plate system?
 
LOL... thanks Eric. Will do.

I do have the LC backing plate and it was on 6. I just figured that it would have been okay since all of the other pads I use never had problems.
 
I just wanted to say thanks to Eric and David for helping me with this situtation. LC is top notch!
