I'm about to order some LC pads but couldn't find if their CCS and in particular Kompressor pads are machine washable.

Also, can someone comment on the thickness of the Kompressor pads - are they thin (as Hydro-Tech) or thick as CCS?

Thanks

afaik, only microfibre pads are machine washable

don't know thickness of K pads, maybe give AG a call

Megs 2.0 pads are not microfiber but sponge pads, yet still machine washable.

I worry about the backing coming off sponge pads in a washer...I have great luck with all my pads in one of the pad detergents sold here, or simple laundry detergent and then rinsed very well...

Ziggo thanks for your post I just did a load of pads in the washer after my last detail & had 2 pads separate from the backing both were new pads for this detail job I cleaned the pads with my universal pad washer & dp pad cleaner then I figured I would throw them in the wash just to make sure they were fully cleaned & rinsed all my pads make it except 1 gray kompressor 6.5" & 1 crimson 4" pad backing separated was told not to put these pads in the wash and they wouldn't replace don't mind that just funny how lake country has it listed on their website but everyone says not to put them in the washer to clean

I have put my 5.5 and 6.5 CCS pads in the washer multiple times and have never had a problem. Warm water, delicate wash. Just my 2 cents.

Mine all get machine washed, never a problem. Sometimes they'll soak in a bucket of Oxy & water for a day or two before they get washed. They are all LC pads of various types.

I also machine wash all my megs pads, but have no experience with the LC's.

Usually I spray a squirt or 2 of megs APC on the face of the pads . ,.. with excellent results.

Because there are many variables when washing pads in a machine, it is best not to. Let them soak, then rinse and dry.

I don't think I'd like to own any pad I couldn't machine wash. All mine, which isn't that many, are Meg's 2.0 pads. Love them.
