So i just bought a new foam cannon, new stunner 2000 gun and the quick connect.
I only used it a few times. I had just rinsed the car off and switch to the cannon to run water through it.
i guess i didn't lock it in and it flew off. so when i went to put it back on the quick connect is leaking.
I even tried to put the regular tip on that rinses and the quick connect still leaks.
Just curious if anyone has had this happen too, or if someone knows why. I look at it and dont see anything broke.

My googling is now helping me on what a stunner 2000 gun is. Anyhow, I'm presuming we are talking GH male/female QD's ?

On the inside of the female end, it seats against a washer/oring. Is it leaking on the hose fitting to QD ? Because that washer serves both as the seal on the GH as well as the seal against the QD male portion

The QD is spraying water. it just looks like it doesnt want to push up and lock in. it goes up and holds the spray tip but doesnt look like it locks in good

Check the female part of the QD for any debris, sand, etc.

You said it flew off, so I'll bet there was something that got into it.

Make sure the O Ring is seated correctly and of the right size... it to me sounds like there is debris, an unseated or mis-sized o ring, or lastly a bad female QDC which should be able to be found at any hardware store.. I've had the outside ring wear to the point that the bearings no longer lock the other side in...
