What's the best way to CLEAN leather. My leather is vinyl coated so I obviously can't use a true leather cleaner. I use 303 aerospace to protect the leather. But what can I use to clean it before I put on the 303??

You can use the 303 vinyl and fabric cleaner diluted

Einszett 1Z Plastic Deep Cleaner. Works like nothing I've ever used.

If it's coated then your cleaning and protecting the coating and not the leather itself.

Exactly. So are the above products best for cleaning the vinyl? I want to make sure it's clean before I put on a protectant. It's a 2010 and the leather is in perfect shape. (I'm using leather and vinyl interchangeably of course)

Mothers VLR is good product to try, does what it claims to do:xyxthumbs:

+1 The only product I use to clean treated leather. I have found nothing better and I have tried almost everything out there.

I usually do it 50/50 if its not really that dirty. It does not seem to be a very aggressive cleaner but it says concentrated. I have used it strait on severely dirty leather with no issue.

The only thing I have found that effectively removes blue dye is Four Star Leather Gel. I live that stuff. I use 1Z Cockpit on everything else but been reluctantant to use it on leather, even treated leather.
