Leather products 08 Vette

So you guys say I should not even try it on hide small place to check the result? is it surely damage the coat? now I got stuck with these two products and have nothing to do with them.

Doubt youll notice it right away, but over time it will likely damage the top coat of the leather.

This is why doing extensive research prior to purchasing products (especially more expensive ones) is important.

Dont use Connolly on protected leather. If you want to stick with AG products than go with 1z. Otherwise I recommend Leather Masters.
do you know if 08 maserati quattroporte is protected? Dealer seems like they dont really know. I bought Connolly but haven't used yet. If it is protected, what would be the problem with using Connolly? And what kind of protection is applied?Feed back please

Nope, I do not know if its protected. But you can do a couple simple things to tell which I posted earlier in the thread. Like I said previously in this thread, Connolly was designed years ago for unprotected leathers, hence why it contains lanolin (google it). The purpose of it is to basically reintroduce any "oils" into the leather which may have been removed since the leather isnt coated. You dont really need to do this on coated leathers. The most important thing to do with coated leathers is keep them clean, and apply a protectant not a conditioner.

Thats a shame ... most higher end exotics "seem" to use higher grades of leather and uncoated hides also, but the dealer should really be able to offer that answer. Maybe in the manual ??

I use Optimum's Leather/Vinyl protectant on my '08 C6seats...works fine. And, as was stated earlier, 303 is another option.
