Leather Seat Cleaner

I just purchased some Lexol Cleaner Spray, and I was wondering how well does it perform on really dirty leather?

I'm doing a Lexus ES300 and it has pretty grimy seats.

Would you say that Lexol gets out tuff gunk style dirtyness?

I really like the way Lexol worked for me. There was a section quite dirty, seemed permanently rubbed in like the leather was worn. But, I used a magic eraser (I still cringe thinking about that) very lightly with the cleaner and it came out looking new.

I tried the magic eraser on my car once back in my early days of ignorance... it ate the coating right off my leather and discolored it.

Are you calling me ignorant? ;) haha

I know, I was uneasy about trying it. But I figured what the heck, go slow and do a test spot, worked great for my application. I wouldn't scrub with it for sure and I kind of doubt I ever use it again.

Keeping them conditioned is key to keep them supple and easier to clean, I think.

I swear by lexol, that's all I use. I have used it just recently on a maxima with pretty dirty tan leather. I just needed to use a soft brush to get it clean.

For deep cleaning leather I would use a steamer. For chemicals, I'd try 1z Lederpflege

Now on the material "pleather," what is the better option?

thanks
