The weather forecast past tomorrow looks like the temps aren't going to get warmer than 50 degrees for quite some time, so I tried to squeeze in a waxing this afternoon.

Put a final coat of Collinite 845 on, but the sun had faded by then and the temps quickly followed, mid-40s. It's not drying, rather moist and slick. Car's sitting in the drive, partly cloudy skies, no/low wind.

Should I buff it as best I can this evening, or can I leave the wax on until tomorrow and finish then? Low-mid 40s temps overnight, then climbing, allegedly to upper 50s tomorrow.

There are two key elements when using Collinite 845.

You will find the wax easiest to remove if you apply a THIN coat and do not let it completely haze over before buffing.

To apply by machine: work at a low speed with no pressure since you are simply applying a product. Apply wax to one section at a time, wait 30 seconds, and then buff.

Collinite 845 is one of my favorite waxes. I always apply it with a DA polisher and apply it super thin. If you think it's too thin then it's just about right...

I agree, one section at a time for 845.

On the other hand I used Duragloss on my car today and left it on for 2 hours in the garage do to the temps being in the 40's.

Which Duragloss product did you use?

Thanks very much, guys!!

I just came in; it turned out wonderfully!

I put a flip top on my 845 bottle. It lets me put just a few drops on the pad. Insure thin application.

Thats a good idea.. Better then that POS cap from the factory....

Pretty easy to use, keep it shaken/runny state.
When it's cold out...Let the bottle sit in some hot water for 4-5 minutes, shake it to runny state, and it will go on /off easily.

Keep your applicator damp and the product won't soak in as much.
Seems to eat up the foam applicators for me. But I like using those over microfiber applicators.
