LED Christmas Lights on my house

Last year, Bill M (LegacyGT) turned me on to the ChrismasLightsetc.com site for LED Christmas lights. I started with a few strands and then loaded up this year for their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Now, all of my outside Christmas lights are LED. I am very pleased at how it looked, so I tried my hand at some shots using varying time exposure, the longest of which was 6 seconds (which are the last 2 shots). Check them out if you will:

Those lights look great richy, and so do the pictures.:props:

I convinced my parents to do all LED lights this year, we did cool white. I love how it turned out, very clean and modern. I love it. We've had our lights synced to music the last several years, but I wanted to try something different this year.

I'm going to have to remember that site for next year, very cool. Any idea if they do an after Christmas sale?

Strangely enough, they did not last year. I kept checking. These warm white ones are on for a reduced $19.99 a strand from $21, but have been that "reduced" price since last year. If you notice the lights at the top of the house are all cool white LED's too. I prefer the warm white since it mocks the old style bulb colour the best IMO.
 
Nice. I did not know about that website. I went LED 3 years ago with GE Icycles from SEARS. (about $15 each). This year is the first year I had any problems - 2 strands partially out. I love the LEDs though and will never go back. Great looking house!
 
Thanks guys. Sorry to hear about your burnt out ones OMRebel. I'm hoping these stand the test of time. So far, so good.

I wanted to replace my regular icicles with LED last year, but at $15.00 a strand, I thought it was too much. This year I noticed that a strand of LED, 60 lights were on sale for $5.00. Couldn't resist and bought 12 boxes. One of them had only 1/2 working and the other half was out. I returned it and got a new box. They all come with 3 extra bulbs..is there an easy way of finding the bad bulbs? I wish they were the type that if one burned out the rest would stay lit. I must say that they are super bright. They say that it will save 90% in energy cost, which is great.Feed back please BTW your house looks cool Richy.

I'll have to keep out for any sales they have then. I really like those falling/snowing icicle lights.

Yeah, I agree the warm white matches the old style better. We picked up a couple strands of cool white after Christmas last year, so we decided to stick with the cool white. I'll have to take some pictures when I'm home over break.

I could be wrong, but isn't it usually the first unlit bulb that is the bad one? I know there's a tester you can buy.
