led color for finding swilrs

was wondering whats the best color led overhead garage light to see swirls. 5000k? 6000k? or something else. i get it that an overhead garage light cant be compared to a scanlight but i would like to install a led light to help find swirls better if possible.

T8, 32 watt-equivalent LEDs...with the
5000K (“Daylight”) color temperature...
and having at least 2100 lumens.

Both 6000K & 6500K LEDs
wound up being:
“too daylight white” for me;
made swirls hard to see.

I was “Blinded by the Light”

Of course: YMMV.

I agree Funx650,too much light can be just as bad as too little.

I have an LED under light about 3 foot long,It is awesome for interior work mounts above my work area easily and is bright but on exterior work the 100 little individual bulbs reflect back catching my eye and irritating me.

for that I bought outdoor floodlights that mock sunlight,,they work pretty well

The ones I bought are Phillips 65w replacement 9w LED Daylight
