hahahahahaha, you better bring a truck to hook up to that to pull this out!!! hahaha

i can enjoy the humor b/c i know i have full insirance with no deductible. so it calms me. this stuff never bothers me too much b/c $hit happens!!! especially with deer. ive was just lucky i wasnt on my bike.
 
You know I think that color attracts deer. I had a 2002 Dodge dually similar in color and was driving along in the country one night about this time of year and had a big buck come out of no where at an angle to me - to this day i don't know how I missed him but he slowed and went behind me. :hungry:
 
After that it would be "Deer it's whats for dinner". Slow cooked so it's not chewy and tough with the right spices. New paint job and months worth of meat FTW.
 
Aw man, that really sucks. My uncle has a Silverado (blue) same year and all. It was a Z series though. I recently detailed that for him. It is a very nice truck.
 
I feel your pain. I hit a deer head on years ago in my dad's truck. It knocked out the grill, pushed fan back into and destroyed the radiator, and wrinkled both front fenders. It was a buck and a big one. He was so thick the truck could not roll over him, just kept pushing him forward . I still have the images burned in my mind of seeing hoofs, then antlers, then hoofs and so on and so forth till I could get stopped.
 
It should be a warning posted on the site though.... Recently detailed cars are prone to accident!!! haha... after putting 3 days work into my 05 Rx8 this summer I wrecked it... It was my fault... some how 2 inches of intrusion in the wheel well caused the entir ecar to be totaled... I think the insurance jsut wanted to part the car out for profit!
 
how many miles is ont it? i was thinking about aquiring one if I can find a z71 in good condition

its a 98 with only 73K. if they total it, i wanna buy it back b/c it took me forever to find a truck this nice, so if its totalled, and if i cant buy it back, i would be looking for the exact same thing i had, lol. So i hope they dont total it.

underside looks VERY clean for a 98!!!!!!!

they did a really nice job on the paint from the amount of time i looked at it!!

Congrats to you on getting it fixed, its never fun to see your pride and joy get damaged like that. On the plus side, it looks like you will have the cleanest 98 Silverado yet again!

Ps. Are you going to clean the frame at all while the bed is off?

i cant. its at the body shop. under body sure is cleeeean tho!
 
Uh, did you take a Chevy truck to a FORD body shop? LMAO!!!!!! J/k

I'm very sure you are ready to get you truck back. Just watch out for those darn deer’s. They like to walk our right in front of you at night time. I have to keep my eyes wide open and with xenon headlights that show the deer’s eyes nicely. I almost hit one when I was driving the step-mother-in-laws new Toyota. The deer never looked at us. Just walked straight in front over the Camry and I was going about 45. Talk about scary.

yah im glad that TERD RACING banner isnt at the same bay my truck is, HAHAHAHAHA...

yah ive came up on deer in the dark mornings on my bike at higher rates of speeds... not too calming... haha
