So your starting a detail biz and you have never clayed a car?
Just sorta wondering...
I hate to be blunt but this is not an easy biz to make a living.
Its kinda like the guy who says hes a mechanic,,and asks where are the spark plugs on an engine,,,maybe hes not ready for prime time if you get my drift,,and i do say this politely and with respect
Senior Member just noticed this Haha

I told My Gf when i walked in the door with my new BlackFire bag all equipped. "Hey other guys have vans!"
She said "go what you have to go do outside, be done by the time I'm out of the shower"
Is it possible to clay a car in 15 minutes? I am currently in the shower btw.
Gotta start somewhere.
Religious iron-x user here... yes, it's possible to clay a car in 15 minutes depending on the level and type of contamination on the paint. Severely neglected finishes and large vehicles will obviously take longer.
Sent from my cell phone while I'm at work, lol.
I've only worked on the production side and they never clay cars... New clear coat for orange peel, Color sand, buff, polish, wash the car quick vacuum, windex for the windows and windshield and same 1 bucket for soap for all the cars.
When a customer comes and picks up their recently crashed car... All they see is the repairs and are just happy to get there car back. Not about detail work.
