Lets see your pictures

Thanks for the pictures GRimm. The one picture of your black Pontiac really does look great. I use to live in Michigan. It's tough living in a cold climate in the winter. Without a heated garage it's impossible to detail your cars most of the time.

Here are a few of mine. Probably my favorite detail was the G35. I posted my first detail of it, here are some pics from the second one. The Mercedes turned out nicely as well. Black always seems to show the best after detailing.

I haven't been taking many pictures lately because by the time I'm done it's completely dark. I really miss having the extended daylight of summer.

G35. Polished with SSR 2.5, SSR1. Followed by AIO then Souveran...

An RX330 (not the best pics.) I think I used 83 on this followed by either SSR1 or OP. I believe I topped this one with EX-P. Second time around I used FK Pink Wax, but no pictures.

300SE I've posted here before. This was my first real detail of someone else's car. I learned alot. Mostly that SSR2.5 can only do so much.

And a couple shots of my own car. UPP, Souveran, DG AW...

And the car that the Speed6 replaced. It was fun for a year, but I'm liking the Speed6 more. I usually kept it topped with CMW.

I really should start taking more pictures of my details.

Yes you really should Sevenrd, more pics for the people.

All those cars are beautiful and have some awesome paint detailing. I love the G35 hood shot and older Mercedes, the paint looked freshly sprayed !!

Love them!!! wow.
why is mine the only one that looks crappy?
very nicecollection of cars too, btw!!

UPP and Souveran looks like an excellent combo, deep, wet and reflective!!! Nice pics:righton:

How does AW hold up on top of Souveran?
I've found that AW does well on top of pretty much everything, including souveran. I think it may take away a bit of the depth of the souveran and give the car a slightly harder reflective look (at least on my car and to my eye), so I'll usually wait a week or so after the souveran to apply the AW. That said, I still love AW as a maintenance wax in-between a full paste/liquid wax application. Really, with regular applications of AW, one could probably get by on it alone. But I like trying different combos for different looks. :)

And thanks for the comments eveyone!

That's good information...thanks! I love using AW, but I was thinking that since I just used souveran on one of our cars, that I wouldn't be able to use it. I was going to use Crystal Mist or OCW...maybe I'll try them all and see how it changes the look.

Some old ones, but shiny after ShMitt and NXT wash-

Its 23f here now, so its not much detailing these days (have too heat up the garage first). about 3 months before i can wash at home again. Still no snow (thanks for that)

wash with Megs gold class
Clay, mothers kit
polish with xmt3 via yellow, then ssr2.5 via orange, and ssr1 via white

Too late Ryan, that pic is officially a screensaver.

Definition of a reflection.

Nice one

Thanks for all the great pictures. The pictures of the black cars refecting the blue sky are outstanding. I would love to have a car that color. The picture of the G35 hood is really great.

Truls, I can't believe there's no snow in Norway in December. What's this world coming to?
