very nicecollection of cars too, btw!!

Hey Lauren, I want to see some pictures of your little red vette. I'm sure with all of your expertise and all the great products you have been getting it looks outstanding. That color should come out really nice.

Joe, to me the type of car does not matter. I know I love look to at them all. That shot of the blue trunk and the fence reflection is excellant.

In Justin's shots the mountains in the background look almost as beautiful as his work.

The BMW by trl2112 looks great.

I want to thank everyone who posted pictures. I really enjoyed looking at all the pictures posted and I'm sure all the people on the forum who saw them enjoyed looking at everyone's work and all the great shots.

Joe, When you come to Cape Coral you would be very welcome to come check my cars out and go for a ride. God blessed me with a good mind and the motivation to work hard. I was not a rich kid or anything like that. My father was factory worker in Detroit. I feel blessed to be able to buy the cars I have but sometimes I also feel guilty for buying expensive ones. I probably should not spend so much money on cars but I love cars. My wife thinks I'm crazy about cars and she's right. It might have something about growing up in the Detroit area but a lot of people seem to have and auto addiction. Anyways I look forward to meeting you if you make it down to Cape Coral.

It sounds like poor Lauren does need some help with the swirls in her little red vette.

I am going to cry!! I just looked at the photos of the Viper Justin did. I am soo jealous! Why do you guys have to keep showing off?
I should have bought a white vette!!!
Waahhhh!!
Gary and Joe, I am afraid it is hopeless.... I should take a shot in the sun. Some nasty scratches in the clear on the hood...I thought they were gone....
back at it this weekend!:(
But thanks for thinking of me, guys!!!]
Luv ya!!!
Lauren:)

Your not hopeless Lauren, you will get those swirls out of that beautiful car.

My good friend and neighbor had 3 of his Porsches out today and I thought some of the members might like to see some pictures. Pictures include his 930 Turbo (my favorite), 996 and a 928. He has quite a car collection with 6 Porsches, 3 Mercedes, Corvette, and Firebird amoung others. Some could use a nice detail. Someone could say busy just detailing his cars.

Ooooh... does he need an extra wife? (Just dont tell Joe...or do you, for that matter? hee hee):p ;)

That 930 rocks!!! I miss our 993, ours was pretty sweet, had a bored and stroked 3.8, Protomotive had done the work. Pre 996 P-cars are awsome, new ones are too borring except for the GT2/GT3, 996/997 turbo will put you to sleep, neighbor is selling his 997TT after only 2 months of ownership, I think a buyer came buy today to check it out when I was cleaning the garage. He still has a 993TT that he's not getting rid of, that car is a blast. The early turbo's are like Vipers, unless you know how to control a car, one mistake and they'll bite your ass lol, that's how I like my cars, rawwwww!. Especially when modded, on a road course, those old turbos were very edgy, boost was either on or off and when it hit mid corner....you were in for a ride:eek:

Here's a couple of a BMW 745i that I had done previously, but decided to put a coat of Pinnacle Paste Glaze on it today. Too bad that product is no longer made.

The first shot is a nice pic of the shop area...we could (but don't) eat off the floor!

BMW745i_PinnacleGlazed_ShopView.jpg

Next is a partial hood/fender shot. At the bottom of the front bumper on this side are several really nasty paint gouges (I think the previous owner scraped it against a concrete something...very bad). It's been years, but I'm gonna try my skill at air brush painting. I did use air brushing years ago on a few custom Harley's I built. The owner said let's try...because he is going to have a pro painter do the same thing, so it won't hurt for us to try.

We'll start with 200 grit and pre the area, then mask it off, primer, color coat, clear coat.

My favorite shot. Poorboys SSR2.5, SSR1 followed by EX-P.

P1et: That's gotta be the reflection shot of the year! It took me a second just to see the handle on the SUV.

Cool stuff.
