Obviously this extends to all active, reserve and veterans, and fallen heros. It does definitely extends beyond our AGO community, so if you are part of our armed forces or have a family member who is, please put your (their) name down and be recognized. We have the freedoms we have because of your contribution to the protection and safety of our rights.

I'll start by naming Smack (Mike) who is stationed in Germany!

Thank you for your service and for protecting our freedom. Past, Present and Future.

Thanks for the recognition Claude!

I will name fellow member James aka 281.

Thank you for your service Mike!

I'd like to thank "EZRIDERGA" for his service!

Thanks for starting this. I retired from the Air Force in 1986 and then "served" another 20 years as an Air Force civilian employee. During the Vietnam years respect for our military personnel was very lacking. I am so thankful that attitude has changed.

Thank you for this thread and thank you everyone's service. I owe my freedoms to you all.

As I understand, Memorial Day is a day of prayer, respect and admiration towards "fallen" US Soldiers.

Thank you for all you do! You should be paid more than these petty professional athletes!

Thanks for bringing this up Claude. It means a lot for us just to be recognized.

Indeed thank you for your service, and sacrifice to protect us and provide the freedoms we all take for granted everyday.

What's sad is the way you and all our HEROS are treated by our government. Its just sickening that they have to wait months, several months to see a doctor, and years to get the benefits promised by our government. Its pathetic.

So, my thanks and gratitude are fairly meaningless, but us typical American citizens appreciate it, even if our selfish f'd up politicians don't.

If you ever make your way to Wisconsin, food and beer is on me!

I hear you. On top off all that non sense we are going through budget cuts big time. Things are not what they used to be.
