Detailed this Lexus and it took a littler longer than expected. Some areas needed a little more attention than others but the finish was nice. I didn't get any shots of the interior but there was some color transfer from the owners blue jeans which was all removed. Car hasn't ran in a while since the owner was over seas but wanted it all shined up.

Exterior:

  • Washed with Chemical Guys Citrus and various MF wash mitts.
  • Wheels & Barrels foamed/cleaned with Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel Gel and various brushes.
  • Wells and tires cleaned with Meguiars APC and various brushes.
  • Embedded contaminants removed with Speedy Prep towel and ONR as lube.
  • Glass cleaned with Meguiars Perfect Clarity Aerosol.
  • Rubber dressed with ShowRoom FX White Pearl.
Interior:

  • Vacuum/dry brush/vaccum
  • All surfaces were cleaned & protected with Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer.
  • Seats cleaned with Meguiars leather cleaner.
  • Seats conditioned with Meguiars Leather Conditioner.
  • Glass cleaned with Meguiars Perfect Clarity Aerosol.
Compounding:
  • M105 w/ Meguiars MF cutting disk
  • M205 w/ Black LC foam pad
  • Followed up by a final wash with Optimum NO rinse and Car pro eraser.
Wax:

  • Showroom FX Blazin Maize w/ Blue LC foam pad

Questions/Comments welcome!

BTW, this is one I did a while back but since I'm catching up on my forums I've just now been able to post some.

Excellent work.

What time of day were the pictures taken? I am blown away by the reflectivity. Wow!

Looks great man!

What buffer did you use to achieve such beautiful results?

I believe it was around 3-4pmish! The owner was thrilled at how the turn around was. He is an avid Texas Rangers fan and said that what I was charging him wasn't enough and threw in two Rangers Tickets (I'm a season ticket holder already and what I charged him was more than enough but he felt inclined)

Looks great man!

Such a subtle 'exotic' in my opinion. A car that doesn't get enough attention but when done right. SHINES!

Probably my favorite picture along with the driver side reflection. Every inch was polished out right. Just my old work horse PC NON XP. I worked on a couple of projects with the great Nick Chapman and he used it a couple of times and fell in love with how well the tool performed and just hummed right along. No crazy vibrations or anything. Only been serviced once in the 6 years I've had it and it was just for a simple brush change. Im the MAN:buffing:
Great work :xyxthumbs:

Where are your seats Brian? Last year I made it to about 28 games but this year I've been busy and haven't made it to as many
