I polished out this GS 350 and applied Cqurtz uk with high and high humility. Fist time with such a high heat. WOW you better be fast or you will have a mess. The coating flashed so fast that you have do very small sections at a time. What is the best coating to use to hot weather?

Nice work! Car looks great! Subscribing to this thread, to hear from the experienced CQuartz installers!

Car looks great!

CQUK can certainly be quite finicky in higher heat and humidity. It is essentially wipe on/wipe off, and larger panels (hood, roof, etc) should be broken into smaller sections. Depending on the temp, I usually will not coat a panel larger than 1 door at a time and often break doors into 2 sections.

CQuartz Classic is considerably easier to use in higher temp. My personal favorite silica based coating to use in most temps would be 22ple products. For non-silica coatings, Optimum Gloss Coat has to be the easiest out there.

Cquartz classic flash slower at high temp , but you did right doing small sections, car looks great BTW.

Best "coating" to use in hot weather?

Wax. At least it LIKES the heat.

I think you did great with the UK, especially on a black vehicle, since it will make the paint look very deep. You did what needs to be done with UK, small areas, wipe on, wipe off.

Its that easy.

HUMP

Looks like you fared very well against the heat. Excellent job!:dblthumb2: Love that drippy wet look on fine Black vehicle.
You're doing something right, brother. Keep it up.

Peace,

Darrin
