So, being in school full time I don't have much time to do a full detail on my car. I just picked up my new dream car from the dealer 5 days ago. Excellent condition inside with TRASHED paint. Full of swirls, holograms, and haziness. I met fellow forum member Mike Moore from "A Miracle Detailing" 5 years ago at a car show when I won best in show with my Rolls Royce silver spur. He won best paint. Once I picked this car up, I knew he was just the guy to tackle the job. I have attached some pictures, some are his, some are mine. I'll let them do the talking….I was blown away when I picked it up! What a guy! So talented! :xyxthumbs:

Really nice job on that Lexus. Outstanding reflection shots!

Nice car, I like it. How can a full time student afford such car though? Just messing with you man.

Thank you Jared for your very kind words. I am still very surprised...

1) That a client posted a Show N' Shine at-a-boy on the AG forum.

2) That such a beautiful finish was underneath all that trashed paint.

3) You kept my card for 5 years and called me to do your dream car.

I'm glad you are happy with the results. I think it came out stunning.
It was my pleasure and privilege. I'm honored that you kept my card.

For you, here's a little S-N'-S post - Lexus LS460L - Obsidian Black
___________

BEFORE:
I really could not believe how trashed the paint was upon inspection.
Every inch of the vehicle was covered in tons of swirls & holograms.
It looked like the prior "detailer" added the holograms to the swirls!

AFTER:
It came out better than factory new. It was almost completely flawless.
The paint finish had clarity, sharpness & a crisp reflective glossy shine.
The finished product was truly AMAZING! It looked like a black mirror!

PROCESS:
Wash: Two Bucket Method, Merino Wool Wash Mitt and Iron-X Snow soap.
Decon: Nanoskin towel (Fine) with Optimum No Rinse (ONR) for clay lube.
Compound: Rupes 21 MKI w/5" BP, 5" Megs mf discs, Megs M101 & D300.
Polish: Rupes 15 MKI, Megs microfiber finishing discs and Carpro Essence.
Small Areas: Griots 6" polisher, 3" Backing plate & 3" Meguiars mf discs.
Wheels: Reload on wheels. Four Star Ultimate Tire Protectant Gel on tires.
LSP: Coated with Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection on all paint surfaces.

PICTURES:
These iPhone pictures do not do the before and after conditions true justice.

Jared - Thank you again for calling me...even if it did take five years (BIG GRIN)...
