Hi

I am wondering if it is worth changing one of my two Rupes LHR 15 mark 2 polishers out with the new Mille? Is the cutting power of the Mille really superior to the LHR 15 mark 2?
Has anyone had a chance to test it yet, I am having a hard time finding anything official anywhere on google. All I can find is the commercials, but i'm looking for someone who has experience with it, or atleast have tried both.

Waiting with my fingers crossed.

Ty in regards.

I posted the question to Mike Phillips and in the rupes discussion forum. I see nothing Wrong with that.
One of them are directed by 1 answer only.

The point is, DO NOT POST TO MORE THAN 1 FORUM. You are asking about Rupes polishers, post to the Rupes forum. Simple. You may not see anything wrong with it, but it is against the forum rules, is bad etiquette, and in the long term, it will create confusion.

Actually I disagree with you.
First of all thr question is not completely the same

The one aimed at Mike Phillips is more of a question towards a rotary machine.
Maybe you should try to read the posts again.

Secondly you Really do wear small shoes.

Thirdly please do show me, where the rules say it is not alæowed to post two different questions in two sections?
Eventhough I also chose to ask Mike the first question as weell.
And if there are any troubles with it, let the admins decide not you.

The mids will be sure tocone along shortly, they will decide what they do.

As for agrreing or not, doesn’t matter. Your question is the same, you just added the LHR 21 MK 2 and the LHR19E at the end of the question in the “Ask Mike Philips section”. It wasn’t mostly oriented towards a rotary polisher.

As for the tightness or lack thereof, your agreement to anything posted is not something that is needed, or that anybody fares about. Were I the only member here to say anything regarding cross posting, it may have been just me. As it is, however, I am not alone. You may wish to consider that when multiple people are telling you that you are doing simething wrong, you actually ARae doing something wrong, whether tou agree or not. Your who demeanor is adversarial, yet you expect to have people sit down and take the time to relate their experiences with the various polishers. Considering your total lack of respect towards members if the board, and combatative nature, why would they help you?

Also, now that you have shown your true colours, you have entered the “Ignore User” list. Congratulations, you are the first one I have ever done this to.

I still do think it is two different questions as I did not mention anything about rotary in this one.
I agree, I could have used another headline.
But again, if you feel the need to put me on your ignore list, feel free.
I see one aimed at Mike only, the other one to everyone else.
I think you are picking a problem Where there Really is not one. Have a great day. :)

The Mille has alittle more correction power than the 15 MKII, I own all the Flex and Rupes.

With what pad? Microfiber doesnt work at all, Rupes wool works better with long throws. With Rupes blue thin pad slight edge for 15mk2. Best pad for mille was lake country purple.foamed wool.but even that didnt cut like microfiber with 15mk2.

I mainly use foam pads on even the worst of defects as these new hi-tech tools have some serious power. I used Hex Logic Yellow and Meguiars Maroon DMC5. I must admit I have over a 1000 full paint corrections under my belt so familiarize myself with new polishers fairly easily and in a heartbeat.

Wow! Hey if you know, how much is the new Mille and rotary?? I can’t even find prices anywhere!

Depending on Deluxe or STN kits anywhere from $450-$650, not ethical to post other detailing sites here but that gives you an idea.
