I have taken on a Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO for a regular client. It has visible shiny red Fox suspension parts. They look like anodized aluminum. I typically use Super Degreaser in a relatively strong concentration through a garden sprayer followed up by a brush to clean visible 4x4 suspension parts. I don't know whether these parts are anodized aluminum or painted and clear coated. I do not want to etch the finish! Any ideas on a regular product that will remove grease, tar and other road grime without marring the finish on these suspension parts?

Any help is appreciated!!

I believe they are anodized aluminum control arms. They could/most likely, be susceptible to etching/fading etc from a powerful cleaner/degreaser. I would tread softly with them and dilute your concentration or just use your pressure washer/hose to clean them if they aren't super greasy/etc.

Like these trucks!

Maybe put some kind of spray on hose off sealant on them as well, like Gyeon Wetcoat or 303 Touchless Sealant, I'm sure there are others, but that's the 2 I've used. I've never used them on suspension before, there's nothing pretty about my suspension, but I have used them on both painted and powder coated off road wheels.

Call the manufacturer or tread lightly with bit after bit of a test spot. Use your camera to take pics with your communication. You should’ve already shown us.

If it was me I’d start with car shampoo & the foam cannon and a brush and see how far that can go. Or is it too much for that to attempt to handle? Pics would help.

Billet Aluminium, Put some tin foil around that area.
Or just stick with a car soap.
