I know it's not apples to apples, but here's looking down the drive in the van. (regular halogens)

I'm still out about the fogs, I may drop to like 4500K or something for a bit more contrast.

what kind of car are them in ? do u have projector style housings?

Hopefully you have them properly adjusted. I hate driving in front of idiots with HID's that shoots all the way to the moon! Blind the hell out of me and everyone else! Police need to give out more fixing tickets bc i see a ton of them....especially people with their honda civic and acura integras!

2000 Ford SVT Contour. Non projector style yet, I'm hoping for that in the future (expensive retro-fit).

I'm still fine tuning the adjustment. I passed three cars on a test drive tonight without getting flashed or anything. But yes, I know exactly what you mean. I intend to have them adjusted for non-blinding.

Good thing, is the car is garaged 95% of the time and when it's not, it rare that it's being driven after dark.

if its rare to be driven after dark, why even spend the money on HID? I hope its not illegal in IL for HID in non HID cars. In my part of Ohio the cops do not tolerate that stuff and will ticket you in a heartbeat. Even when adjust a non projector headlamp doesn't have the sharp upper cut-off like a projector and you will still get a lot of glare.

I had a bulb out and the cost between regular halogens and the HIDs wasn't enough of a difference to not upgrade. The cops around here don't seem to get worked up about that kind of stuff at all.
