Lighting

Thanks for the responses. Ended up going for the 75 watt rather than the 110. Got 3 8 footers with "full spectrum" 5000k bulbs. It's bright. Installed them this weekend. Only got shocked twice and saw smoke once. Not bad. Lol. I may get a couple more or maybe a few 4 footers. Prob need something above where the garage door goes up so I can lower it a little and have the light.

I'm curious how do I figure out how many lights I can hook together? The garage is 20amp. I ran 14 gauge wire from the lights themselves. Connected all three to 12 gauge and ran that to the power source.
Is there a formula?
 
As said above...12AGW!

If for example, you have a fire, insurance folks come out, see 14AGW on a 20A circuit...the ball will be in your court for rebuild.

I know rewiring can/will be a pain in the tail feathers, better to be safe than sorry.
