I have been using 303 on the spray in liner. Today I did 1/3 of the bed and the tail gate with 303 and then topped the 303 on the tail gate with UTTG to test the longevity (expensive I know). I have Perl arriving tomorrow and not sure about the dilution ratio for the linex but I am going to try it on the rest of the bed. Any one else have experience with other products for spray in bed liners ?. The 303 and the Perl have UV guard which is kind of important since I live in Arizona. Any recommendations ?.

I can honestly say I've never "dressed" the LineX in my truck; actually when I bought the truck the installer gave me the option to have him put a UV resistant additive in the mix to keep it from fading over time.

All I ever do is broom/vacuum it out, then head up to the coin op car wash to scrub it with the infamous "foaming swirl brush," (just the LineX, nothing else of course!) rinse with the pressure washer and air dry. Still looks like brand new 3 years later and running.

Same here, I'm on my 3rd truck with Line X. If you ever have to move around in the bed when it's raining you'll wish you didn't have anything on it.

I've had Line-x in my bed for 1.5 years now, and i do the same thing Charlie does... Coin-op with the swirl brush and then preassure wash it out... I did not get the UV protectant (line-x plus or something like that) as i have a tonneau cover on the bed 98% of the time, so i wasn't worried about the sun fading... I do remember the line-x guy told me if i ever wanted the UV protectant later down the road they are able to spray it ontop of your old line-x application, so that may be a route you may want to look into if you are worried about the sun.

Mine is 13 years old, some things fade with time, trust me.

Just another option, Sonus Trim and Motor Kote

I was just looking at that and put it on the wish list so I do not lose track of it. The other suggestion would be to visit a Linex dealer to see what the cost of the restoring product they recommend would be. It doesn't rain much in the Phoenix area and I have never had a problem with slipping in the bed and I have been using 303 for about 8 years now. Thanks for the recommendation.

Dave - ask them about the UV protectant... I think if they apply that overtop of the line-x, it will bring back that "freshly sprayed" look, plus the line-x warranty should come in to play should it ever fade in the future.

Finished the bed with Perl 1:1 today, used about 3oz. and applied same as 303 with the HVLP 4oz. spray gun. The Perl seems to cover a lot better than 303. Looks are about the same. Durability?, doesn't rain much here and the truck does not get out much as it is mainly used for towing so it could be a long time to determine this since I usually only do this once a year any way. The Perl sure looks good tho.

Dressing the bed is not going to stop it from fading. I'm afraid you're wasting your money
