so i just received a bottle of liquid souveran received from a recent trade, never used this before and quite frankly never used liquid waxes in general.

my question is, when i took the bottle out it seemed very liquidy. is this normal? i was under the assumption that liquid waxes were still thick in consistency? this is almost as thin as water if not as thin as water?

and the smell is really strong/not really pleasant. my souveran spray wax smells like cake batter but this is way different.

is this normal for the liquid souveran? just don't want to apply to my vehicle if it's not correct.

shook it up like crazy. still really liquidy/thin and has a really strong chemical smell to it?

tried a little bit of it. seems fine. i'm just new to liquid waxes. always been a paste man myself.

Sometimes the liquid waxes will have more solvents in them which is why you might get more of a chemical smell. Souveran Liquid Wax has a bunch of polymers in it too which makes it more of a hybrid wax/sealant, at least thats what I have been told.

The consistency sounds right, no worries on that front.
 
Shake it as you use it. Put on a very thin coat.Try to let it cure. Maybe half hour to an hour.It goes on easy and comes off easy. Leaves a Great Shine. Especially on Black. It is my go to wax. I use it on every vehicle I detail!
 
Sounds like it just needs a good shaking up, as for smell...not really sure about that...I dont care too much for sniffing wax or sniffing a car that has been waxed...lol.....but, the one thing I can tell you, is that Liquid Souveran will change your mind about a liquid wax, that is the best out on the market....my favorite and only liquid wax...it is awesome.
 
I have Liquid Souveran too. It's pretty liquidy and the smell is nothing like Souveran paste. What you described sounds about right. Use and enjoy!
