List of vehicles with Hard to Soft clear coats or NO clear coats

Some fairly recent Toyota models had single stage or clear-coat depending on color. For example, my 2002 MR-2 has a single stage Black. IIRC, all the colors in that year without flake (black, yellow, & white) were single stage. I know black up through 2005 was still single stage.
 
Our 05' LX470 has a clear coat, off white/champagne color. Some people told me some colors are single stage on Toyota/Lexus, don't know about that, but our truck deffinitley has a clear coat......my pads are the same colors they were before:D.
