Hey guys, does anyone here use the Bissle Little Green Machine, I've heard from others that its not that bad and under a $100 even for the one that has a water heater built in, so is it worth it?

I have one and it works really well for what you pay for it... I have the one with the built in "heater" and the "turbo brush" which I really like where space allows. The heater doesn't seem to be much more than a warmer as you're instructed to add hot water to cleaner anyway and if the water isn't hot, I don't think the heater will actually make it that way.

I just recently got one, can't beat it for the money, IMO. Granted it'd last longer for the hobbyist vs. the professional. If you'll be using the machine more than a few times a week a professional extracter may be a better choice for longevity reasons.

What does everyone use for solution in the LGCM?

I use the LGCM for warm water extraction.......no other solution in it. I spray the carpets with Folex and ZEP Premium Carpet Cleaner first then extract with the warm water from the LGCM.

:iagree: and feel that I have a lot more control putting stuff down with spray bottles. It's also perfect for extracting a lot of H2O like after PWing mats.

Sounds like something worth considering. As I only have a few cars to keep clean, I can't justify the purchase of a $1000 or $1500 machine although I would'nt mind having one.

Thanks man for the link, I ordered one up to try out. If it is anything decent I will hold off buying a more expensive unit.

If you will please reply as soon as you can . I am interested in getting one too . all my cars and trucks need a good thorough cleaning .

WOW- I think I am gonna buy one at that price!!!!! Thank you man!

I use the LGM with heater and use all the attachment you get with it. Go machine.

I dont see any mention of a heater and those are factory refurbished as well.

I have the heated one and am very pleased with it. For light usage I think it is a bargain. The pics below show four year old carpet after a couple of swipes. The carpet had never been cleaned before. Click pic for larger view. I did not pretreat with Folex, just used the shampoo that came with the machine. To avoid any confusion the second pic is of the machine itself that heats the water and comes with a rotating brush......caught it in sale at Target for $90.
