For rims, I usually use turtle wax chrome polish. It works pretty well and it's cheap so I've never needed to try anything else. Well today I forgot it. I had a few different Meguiars polishes with me so I decided to test it out.

I found it actually works better than the turtle wax. It removed the water spots along with light oxidation. With a little more elbow grease it removed heavier oxidation. It's easier to wipe off so long as you don't use a lot. Just a tiny dab and I did 2 full rims and it was a quicker cleanup.

Cool stuff. Although the wheels didn't look oxidized they came out well. It seems as though your didnt rinse all the wheel cleaner you used off and it stained on the rim. It happens a lot and usually a light polish removes it with little effort. If that was oxidized or dried hard water spots, it would of take a lot more elbow grease.

There were some oxidized spots on another rim that came off. I rinsed the cleaner off well. Those spots were actually from the sprinkler that hits it daily with well water.

Seemed to work just fine for you. That's great!

Watched a few of your other videos too and I like the music in them. As much as I like G-n-R's and other various bands I heard some music in one of your videos that was very refreshing. I love this music [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=romv0sp8h20&feature=relmfu]Dug Dug's Mobile Detailing - YouTube[/video] in this particular video. I wish more young people was in to this type of music today...

LOL I would have tried 105 if the UP didn't work lol

Glad you weren't offended. Keep trying new things and maybe one day you'll teach me something I don't already know

So how is business? Whatever became of the Groupon deal?

*crosses fingers* lol I do about 5 groupons a week. It keeps me busy. For the first month I made the mistake of not giving myself any days off.

Nice slideshow and I couldn't agree with you more about the music, I got into blues when I was 25 and haven't looked back since, actually have gotten into jazz over the past 10 years, especially fusion! Listening to jazz while detailing a car is a great experience, very relaxing! If someone is reading this and would like a suggestion on what to listen to while detailing a car, try these and get back with me:

-Miles Davis "Kinda Blue"

-John Coltrane "Love Supreme"

-Miles Davis "Sketches of Spain"

Now I love Miles' fusion period too, but start with the above stuff and as far as blues goes, well, you can't go wrong with the standards (BB King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Stevie Ray Vaughan to name a few) Music while detailing goes hand in hand IMO:dblthumb2:
