Got some nicer weather so I decided to try my new foam cannon...BUST, I dont have the right end for my PW. Bought the fitting for Karcher and it looks like I need the Bosch...I have the Husky PW 1600.

So I use the foam gun instead.

AND I used the new to me Meguiars D156 Synthetic Express Spray wax as a drying aid!
Meguiars Synthetic X-press Spray Wax, X-press car wax, Meguiars X-press spray liquid wax, D156

Works AWESOME, smells OK but not as good as Aquawax does. Shine looks good, lets see how well it holds up. ON TO THE PICS

Don;t mind the ROT near the fuel door, its a common spot on these cars and its just my DD that I am not going to spend $1000 on repairing that.

Looks really nice.
I tell you for a car it's age it sure in good condition. :)
IMO this was one the most popular Bonneville's ever made.

Love your hose reel, great idea.

Thanks, the reel is a wheel from a set that match my 89 Formula.

The car has 149174 miles on it now but with the 3.8 engine I would imagine it still has quite a bit of life left in it.

A good friend of mine had one, it died on him when it got to 323k
He was so depressed being he loved that car.
So yeah you have along way to go:dblthumb2:

Very nice! Have you had to replace the intake manifold gasket, their known to go on the 3.8's?

Nope. Did the coolant elbows a few weeks ago tho. Yeah its not a perfect engine but it is darn close... gotta be one of GM's better engines ever.

You're one of the lucky one's. They are one of GM's best. Goes to show, that if you keep up with maintenance, you'll get good mileage out of them.

Every 3.8 I've had has been a workhorse. Had some Buicks back in the day that the body went before the engine died. Now a Grand Prix GTP and this 3800 moves!

Dunno know, the 3.8 in my Camaro died after 84k. It literally blew up. No more GM products for me.

You have the super charger, right? I drove one of them years ago and couldn't believe how fast it was.

Yep! With an SLP catback exhaust. 2005 with 80K. Gives it a nice low rumble and 10 extra HP.

I concur! Nice looking GP!!! Love the SC whine.

As for the Camaro with blown engine, I dont know what to tell ya but I can only assume that it wasnt properly taken care of or was just a freak thing that happened. What year Camaro?

Very nice! That's a good looking car.

Thanks. Bought it in 2/13. Had been driving Buicks being on the road salesman. Now I'm working virtually so I bought this. Even my teenage son said "It's the first cool car you bought!" Wheels are trashed so I'm replacing them in the Spring. Yeah the SC has a nice rumble. It was a little higher pitched when I started it when it was -10! Thank God for remote start.

Rainy night last night while I was at work, so when I came out I thought I would take some beading shots for you of the Meguiars D156.

Pics are bad cause it was dark and cell phone, but the car was completely dry about 5 min down the highway!!

Many tiny beads
