Logo Design Help

Hey guys,

I am starting up my business here in Edmonton AB, and i need a logo for my company.

Due to start up costs and being in the slow season (winter), I am not in a position to purchase a logo. I was wondering if any of you know a good program I can use. I have drawn out what I want on paper, but I want a good, final copy for the actual logo. It is fairly simple.

Here is what I want to do:
This is the name and the font I want and have

I want this drawing put over top the name, minus the wing

If anybody wants to have a crack at doing one for me I would really appreciate it. If not point me to a good software that is Mac compatible.
 
honestly, i understand about being in a budget but when it comes to the first impression of your business you should have something made professionally. you can find websites like 99designs.com where you can have multiple illustrators make you a logo to your specifications on the cheap. There's also a company out there that does $50 logos, just do a google search.

If you want anything else done to it just let me know i dont mind at all . I have fun doing this kind of stuff
 
i can change the font and the car . Just let me know the name of the font .
 
I had a a friend design mine in about a day. He the CEO of a really great design firm, nerd minded.com

Another Canadian in the snow preparing for the spring start!

I have my name Triple Shine Mobile Detailing and I also like the car silhouette above. I went online and googled some logo sites. I looked at a bunch of car silhouettes from their examples to pick what one I preferred but still unsure.

I too, am looking for a program or some help!!!

I Like your I AM AUTOS name. If you want some of what I have found let me know and I can email you.

I've posted in the past what I did. Fiverr.com

I had to deal with 4 or 5 poorly done jobs before I found someone decent. and it cost me $10 for 2 gigs instead of just $5. but if you find someone with good feedback, and give them some guidance, you may find yourself pleasantly surprised for only a few bucks over at fiverr

prepare yourself for some potential crap though as you never know who you're dealing with. But I found that fiverr is good about refunding if you're not pleased with the work.
 
Thanks a lot for the feed back here. My new man here jgibson2980 really came through and helped me out here with a custom logo! I will be posting the logo soon!
 
Ummm dont want to sound rude or anything but the logo you have is the one i use. You just used different text. Please do something about this very soon.

LoL I'm not suprised. Alot of logos I see on here all look very similar, no originality. Hence why I design my own stuff, been doing graphics since the days of Photoshop 5 when I was 15.
 
you do know that the car shape is actually a generic clip art? Any one can use it, it is very common
