just so you know cg wash n gloss is a great cleaner and even at a dilution ratio of 2 oz to one gallon of water the ph of the solution is just under 7.5....just food for thought that the soap is much gentler than people think...dont let the citrus name fool you...you will have more lsp loss with meg nxt that at the same dilution has a ph of just over 8....
Yeah, NXT sucks in a foam gun, and removes LSP...

I never thought CG wash and Gloss was that strong myself. I use 1 oz in 4 gallon water in a bucket or 1oz in a foam gun and it left the paint still slick.

i think you might be confusing LSP with LSD. .:p

LSP = Last Step Product

this could be a wax/sealant applied after polishing to add depth/wetness ...also added protection

what is LSP????

Is this a Drug or something?

it says nxt doesnt remove exsiting wax on the bottle.

Awesome test, thanks for taking the time and doing this. Where did you pick up your foam cannon? Looks like a nice toy....:D

Got it from Justin.

Most of us that have used it noticed that it hurts the lsp, the few times I used it, beading faded off immedietley, and if it rained a couple days late it was more blobby instead of beady. Good wash for strip down though as it cleans strongly.

DG 901 and PB's SSS are tops, ran outta PB's and have been using 901 since. DP Extreme is good too, I have a couple ounces of it left.

Hi guys, been using DG 901 for a while now, noticed that whilst washing, the paint squeaks when rubbed. Is this good/normal/desired?

Havent used DG 901, but squeaks while doing ANYTHING doesnt sound good. You shouldnt be using pressure while washing, be very gentle.

haha i wasnt realli using pressure, jus that i noticed a speck and was tryin to brush it off with my fingers. the paintwork squeaked while removing the speck

Oh, well thats why then.

I've gone through 2 gallons of NXT and haven't found it to be hard on LSPs. Just like you though, I have began switching over to Gold Class. Both are good OTC soaps, IMO. The pics are a little disappointing... I was under the impression that the foam cannon produces thick foam. I was never really interested in a foam cannon and this helps me with not wanting one. A good side by side test though... and lucky Jeep for getting soaped up 3 times :). Just curious, did you wash the Jeep ahead of time or was one soap used on the dirty surface first?

You can use more soap and get that shaving cream look. Not necessary IMO though. Justin puts dawn in his to get the shaving cream. But again, not necessary and I dont like Dawn on cars.

All I did ahead of time was power wash the car. Dont think the little amount of dirt that was still left had an affect.

1 oz. of CG Citrus with 1 oz. of Meg's NXT in 30 oz. of water is an awesome combo! Im going to try 1 oz. of DP Xtreme and 1 oz. of CG Citrus next. Sorry, no pictures.

I do a mix of DP Extreme 1oz ,DG901 1oz, and the rest hot water and I achieve great results. The dilution was at about 75% on the injector.

Thanks for the review D&D. I've read alot of people love the CWG for bulk washing, I may look into that.

That looks great. NXT hardly foams at all, but still made a big difference when mixing the too. I cant wait to try DP and CG.

I tried hot water once with CG and it actually decreased the suds.

When I said "hot" I meant just good ol' sink hot water :p I never seen a decline, but I always shake my bottle up too :) Let us know how the DP/CG turns out.
