Look at what I found at Wally World!

Depends on the Senior Buyer.

Sometimes it's because he/she wanted to expand inventory. Often - it's because he/she has some personal interest (enthusiast/hobbyist) associated with said product(s).

I've worked with a few over the years, and you could almost tell right off the bat how certain deals/negotiations would go down.

If Walmart ever sold cars, you would most likely get about 1 week out of driving it before it became a pile of junk.

This isn't my usual Walmart. This was my first time to this one. None of my stores in Houston have any of this stuff! I thought this was a pretty nice find. They had several compounds, #7 and 26. The microfiber cut and polis pads and the mf compound is on the top right. All they had for pads were 7 inchers.

Overall, I was highly surprised and shocked to saw the least. :props:

Been buying my oil there for a long time. They crush everyone on price. Car care products now has its own aisle...oil and filters has its own aisle...people are keeping cars longer nowadays. That means more protection and better care. I also imagine the explosion in new products over the last 5 years owes a little to that fact as well.

Our local Walmart surprised me the other week too. They had Meg's "Ultimate Wax" on the shelf for $19.99...Pep Boys carries it for $22.99. I would never have thought of shopping there for car stuff

I bought the other day at Orielys for 25.99.

I frequent one of the several in my area that carries everything in the picture. I generally clean out the MF pads and D300. They are cheaper than anywhere online from what I can tell also.

BTW, there's a thread on MOL with all the Walmart locations listed. I'm fortunate enough to have 3 or 4 near me.

here is the original thread that was started here about this........if you want to get it from WM then nows the time because its on its way out!!!

Was at mine this past weekend and its all marked to be discontinued. I talked to the store manager and asked him if they are just pulling off the shelve or were they going to mark it down to clear it out......he wasn't sure.

My store has very little on the shelves now but was loaded a few months back.

Gave the store manager my Phone # and told if they mark it down to call me and I would buy "ALL" the mf pads, and d300 he had in the store.

I'm oly talking about the mirror glaze and the pro series of products.......thier commumer line will still be there......

I drove 30 minutes to one near me. Low on stock. Had the 7" pads and the finishing MF pads. Only 3 bottles of MF polish. Tons of mirror glaze. A spot for the polisher...but all gone. I bought a pack of MF finishing pads....out of cutting. There was one backing plate left....out of the package. I took it to the register and she (manager) said just take it with the pads...... I'm hitting another tmrw to see if I can get the cutting pads.

Gosh darn it... this got me out to our closest one today, no luck. Not gonna' be able to get out tomorrow, heavy rain, wind gusts to 60 mph!

Newer one just south of us, might try there later in the week.

I need to pick up some 105/205 to keep on hand now that I'm thinking about it. 105 was only 23 or 24 compared to the local auto parts asking 33.

I guess that's good to hear...

cept all of meguiars products are low and havent seen new stock on shelves for a while now. My walmart used to keep atleast half a dozen to a dozen of each product.

of all the wheel cleaners Chrome, all wheel and aluminum. There was only ONE all wheel on the shelf.

A cupple months ago they were blowing out the red bottle quick detailers

no new stock of their wraptivo line. (I want to get a black carbon for my father)

2 ultimate liquid wax, no ultimate paste

no gold class soap, a few ultimate wash & wax.

no more g110v2s, 2 bottles of 205, 3 bottles of 105
1 bottle of d300, 1 bottle of d301

Im not too worried. Just sucks if I were to need product in a pinch. It wont be avaliable.

Dont count on them being available for too long. I doubt they sell how wal-mart wants them to sell. Even at my store, no one really buys the pro series megs. Every once in a while a seasoned old timer will come get some M07 etc.

Enthusiasts & pros alike usually get their stuff from a local body shop or online. Or, in gallon jugs. For the average joe, I just dont see the market for it when it comes to Wal-Mart.

Then again, most people who buy their products at Walmart probably buy the cheapest wash and turtle poo wax because of the price.

ours in Coral Springs has had this section for over a year. I remember when they first brought in Surf City and Autoglym.

I remember Autoglym HD a few years ago at one store. It wasn't there long and I haven't seen it since.
