Additional question, I also think about Mothers or Megs powerball (in their headlight kits). But some people tell me those things worn pretty quick. they are designed for use only 4-5 times. Is that ture?

I can't speak for the other brand, but our PowerBall 4Lights can be removed from the backing plate for washing and to reverse the foam element.

You'll get twice the life by simply turning it over. And longevity shouldn't be an issue - all the individual fingers will go around the alignment pins that stick out of most headlights. Solid foam will shred if the drill is running fast when it hits those pins.

I'd be curious where you read about the life of our tool. I have yet to wear one out.
